Terms of Service
Last updated May 4, 2026.
1. Who we are
Instaprice (the "Service", "we", "us") is operated from France. You can reach us at [email protected]. Editor and hosting details required by French law are listed on our mentions légales page.
2. What the Service is
Instaprice helps freelancers turn a project description into a proposal. You paste a brief; we run it through an AI pipeline and return a line-item proposal, an estimated total, and a draft client reply. You decide what to send to your client.
The Service is provided "as is". Output is suggestive, not professional pricing or legal advice. You remain solely responsible for the proposals and emails you send to your clients.
3. Account and authentication
Accounts use magic-link sign-in: you enter your email, we send you a one-time link, you click it. There is no password. Anyone who can read your email inbox can sign in to your account. If you lose access to your inbox, contact us.
Magic links expire after 15 minutes. Sessions last 30 days from last sign-in. You can sign out at any time from the account menu.
4. Pricing and access
We offer two plans, both as one-time payments — there is no automatic renewal:
- Yearly access — €49. Grants 12 months of access starting from the date of purchase. When the access window expires, you can purchase another year.
- Lifetime access — €149. Grants access for the lifetime of the Service. If we permanently shut the Service down, lifetime users will receive at least 90 days' advance notice. Beyond the refund window in section 6, no pro-rata refund is owed if the Service is later discontinued.
Prices are in euros and shown inclusive of any applicable taxes. The exact price you pay is displayed before checkout.
5. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details; Stripe does. Submitting a payment means you also accept Stripe's terms applicable to the cardholder. We receive a confirmation event from Stripe and grant you access on that basis.
6. Refund policy
14-day no-questions refund. You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason, for both yearly and lifetime plans. Email us at [email protected] from the address on the account. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within a few business days.
After 14 days, the purchase is final. Yearly access does not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel — you simply stop having access at the end of your 12-month window.
This policy is offered in addition to, not instead of, any statutory rights you have as a consumer under French and EU law (in particular Articles L221-18 and following of the French Code de la consommation).
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes a third party's rights;
- attempt to break, probe, or overload the Service, or scrape it at scale;
- share account credentials, magic links, or session cookies with anyone else;
- resell or repackage the Service, or use it to operate a competing service;
- upload content you do not have the right to share, or content containing personal data of third parties without a lawful basis to do so.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Instaprice software, brand, design, and underlying content. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for the duration of your access window.
You own the proposals you generate and any text you paste in. You grant us a limited license to process your input through third-party AI providers, store it in our database, and display it back to you, strictly to operate the Service. We do not claim ownership of your proposals or your client briefs.
9. AI output disclaimer
Instaprice uses third-party large language models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Numbers, scope items, and reply text we generate are starting points to be reviewed and edited, not deliverables to be sent unchanged.
Instaprice does not provide professional pricing advice, legal advice, tax advice, or accounting advice. You are solely responsible for the proposals and emails you send to your clients, for the prices you charge, and for the contracts you sign.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is capped at the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost contracts, or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death and personal injury caused by negligence. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
11. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and associated data, email us at [email protected]; we'll process the deletion within 30 days, in line with Article 12 of the GDPR.
We may terminate or suspend your access for material breach of these terms, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 8, 9, 10, 13, and 14 — survive.
12. Changes to the Service and to these terms
We may update the Service and these terms over time. For material changes to these terms, we'll notify active accounts by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date counts as acceptance. If you don't accept the changes, stop using the Service and request a refund if you are still within the refund window.
13. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes will be handled by the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory rules that grant a different forum to consumers.
Before going to court, please email us at [email protected] so we have a chance to resolve the issue directly. As a consumer, you can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
